What is a Web Editor?
This is a program that allows you to build a web page.
Some of these demand no knowledge of HTML (Hypertext Mark Up Language) from which web pages are built.
Others assume you can work with the code.
What do they cost?
Prices vary from FREE to expensive! The most expensive have a lot of features and can set you back over £250.

Some Examples
Simple no knowledge editors
Use Microsoft Word or Microsoft Publisher - you can still build quite spohisticated pages with these. Both programs have templates and web page wizards
More Sophisticated WYSIWYG editors
- Microsoft FrontPage (part of MS Office suite or standalone)
- Mozilla Composer (part of Mozilla Suite)
- DreamweaverMX (Macromedia's top level editor)
